Camera

Depending on the variant you choose, the drone has one camera or two cameras (switchable in the app). The variant names use the manufacturer's model designations; we have not tested the actual recording resolution ourselves. Expect image quality that suits an entry-level drone, not a professional camera drone.

Battery information

• The drone battery is included and charges via the USB cable (USB adapter not included).
• The remote control needs 3 × AA batteries, which are not included.
• Always charge under supervision, on a non-flammable surface, never unattended or overnight. Do not use a damaged or swollen battery, and recycle old batteries at a collection point.

Drone rules: good to know

Rules apply to light drones too. In the EU, owners of a camera drone weighing less than 250 g generally have to register as a drone operator (in the Netherlands with the RDW) and display their operator number on the drone. Only drones certified as toys under the EU Toy Safety Directive are exempt; we cannot confirm this for this model, so assume registration is required. Always fly within sight, no higher than 120 m, not over crowds and not in restricted zones (such as near airports), and respect other people's privacy. In the US, recreational drones under 250 g do not need FAA registration, but recreational flyers must pass the free TRUST test. Check the current rules for your country before your first flight.

Recommended for ages 14 and up. Younger children only under adult supervision.
